As you can see guys I’m basically doing a stint on proper blogging techniques, and the dos and don’ts of this type of web promotion, and marketing. Lets begin with the real basic stuff, actually writing an article. Now I know a lot of you probably just made a big fat groan on this one. Well to tell you the truth I do not really like writing myself, however when you get the basics down it isn’t that really tough. Plus you must realize that not every post has to be some earth shattering knowledge that will change lives forever, it could be something as simple as a “tip of the day” type post. Anyways, let me break down the basic elements of the proper article blog post.
Standard Blog Post Elements:
1. H1 Tag
2. Permalink
3. Image
4. H2 Tag
5. H3 Tag
6. Underlined
7. Bolded
8. Italicized
9. Linked back to your main blog url like makemoneyonlinewithrob.com
10. Linked back to your post
Always place you main keyword in your H1 or title tags / keywords. This is extremely important. It is the first thing Google and the other search engines will look at when classifying your post. Permalinks, if you want it to look clean, and simply state the title of the post, then select custom and write /%postname%. This will make your post look like this http://www.makemoneyonlinewithrob.com/keywords phrasing. So people know instantly what the post is about. Image, people are extremely visual, always include a picture and make sure it has a link back to your website. H2 – H3 Tags can be placed within the post itself, or in the code of your website. I suggest simply placing them within the post, make them good action / buyer oriented keywords. Of course underline, bold and italicize them as well to catch the readers eye. Make them a bright blue to let the reader know that it is a link to be checked out.
Now the last two make one of your clickable links refer back to your blog to help drive some traffic there. Also make the other links send your potential leads to your affiliate products. This way you cover both basis. Now no matter what you write about make sure it has this basic structure. Also there is not need to write a Ph.D thesis here. Keep your blog posts around 350 – 400 words. People tend to lose interest and get bored if you do not get straight to the point within 3 to 4 paragraphs. Follow these simple rules and you will create a smooth nice looking blog that people will want to follow every week.

Great job you are doing with your blog! People have got into debates with me about the length of blog posts. I don’t like to make mine long either, but some people prefer to write novels for a post. I am one of the people who loses track of what I am reading if the posts are too long, so I can say that 350-400 words is a perfect length.
