Best Offline Marketing Tactics

Even though we primarily do a majority of the marketing on the internet, please do not over look some of the old tried and true methods of marketing. I’m talking about actually marketing in radio, television and newspaper. Now radio and television can be a little expensive and should only be done when you have a good marketing team and a large budget. However, some of the smaller methods are just as effective. One the best methods I have used are classified ads in both the online, and offline newspapers. Put an ad in the local nifty nickel, and you could have some serious coin on your hands from all the people responding to the ads. Also do not forget about flyers, have two hundred, or so made up, and then pass them out at the local college, or shopping mall. Simply go to your local Fed Ex, or UPS stores, they are running deals all the time.

Use brightly colored paper with catchy phrases like, “make an extra $1,500 per month by working out of your house with a free website!” Then put your URL and watch how many people start checking out your site. This is also a good one for business cards. Do not just keep them to pass out at a party, but go out and pass out several hundred on cars. Sometimes the cards can be cheaper to print up then a larger flyer and you get the same results. These are some of the best offline marketing tactics. You can also have some unique ones done up like signs, or magnate stickers placed on the side of your car. Even have some hats and t-shirts made up, become a walking billboard for your own business. My personal favorite, especially for cash gifting is of course direct mailing with postcard and magazine ads. These are mailed to places that have expressed an interest in starting a home business, so you will have a good chance of making some serious coin. Some will work better then others. You just have to try them all and test different ads until you have that one ad in the one medium that just skyrockets your business into another tax bracket.
